OPSEC Awareness Certified (OAC) Course Introduction In a world where information is constantly collected, analysed, and exploited, Operational Security (OPSEC) has become essential. OPSEC focuses on understanding what information we expose, how adversaries can use it, and what steps we can take to prevent misuse. The OPSEC Awareness Certified (OAC) course is designed to help individuals and organisations strengthen their awareness, reduce digital risks, and protect both personal and corporate information. By completing this course, participants will be able to: - Identify what information adversaries look for - Understand modern threats including AI deepfakes, OSINT techniques, and metadata leaks - Recognise common vulnerabilities in everyday routines, devices, and networks - Apply effective countermeasures to reduce operational risks - Practise secure habits consistently at home, at work, while travelling, and on social platforms This course covers the full spectrum of modern OPSEC challenges through seven structured modules for clear progression: Module 1: Introduction to OPSEC Module 2: The Modern Threat Landscape Module 3: Identifying Critical Information Module 4: Common Vulnerabilities Module 5: Risk and Countermeasures Module 6: OPSEC in Everyday Life Module 7: Advanced Awareness At the end of the training, participants will take a 30-question final exam designed to validate and reinforce their OPSEC understanding. A free retake is included, ensuring everyone has a fair opportunity to demonstrate mastery of the concepts taught in the course. Upon successful completion, participants will receive their official OPSEC Awareness Certified (OAC) certification via email as formal recognition of their achievement. The objective of this certification is to instill a proactive security mindset, enhance digital resilience, and ensure individuals are well-equipped to protect sensitive information in any environment.
